SAP Eventus 2007

What started as a 3-month demonstration project to get a team at SAP to train in Design Thinking processes turned into the most-talked-about prototype that caused the rest of this leading Enterprise Software company to rethink fundamental assumptions about business, processes, and how workers make decisions every day.

  • Led weekly Interaction Design presentations to the team on the whiteboard, guiding rapid iteration of prototype, quick visual design for prototype
  • Coached team in qualitative user interviews at customer sites, led designers and developers through the process of turning insights into viable concepts.
  • Design Team: Carola Thompson, Moya Watson, Tim Murphy, Alex Maedche, and others
  • Demonstrated at SAPPHIRE 2007 during CEO Henning Kagermann’s Keynote, and became the inspiration for SAP Streamwork in 2010
